Quotations

Enter and update quotes and bid item detail. Prior quotes may be duplicated. Quotes and estimating are integrated; as are jobs. A quote can be made into a job with a single click. All line item detail is converted into job tasks. Quotes can be faxed, emailed or printed directly out of the system. Processing software makes it easy to expire, delete or resend 'active quotes'. Jobs

You can start a new job at any time. First, select a customer and then enter the job details. There are three levels of job entry detail. After entering a job, you can refine the estimate associated with the job, put the job on the schedule, order materials and subcontractors, schedule crew(s), and monitor job costs during construction. A completed job is used to invoice the customer; in-progress billing is available. Job Cost entry integration with Jobs.

Purchasing

Purchasing activity is normally associated with a specific job. In the clear_PROFIT system Purchase Orders (PO) are issued to vendors for materials. Work Orders (WO) are issued to subcontractors for services. Purchasing software allows contractors to publish a Request for Quote (RFQ) for Vendors and Subcontractors. These trading partners can access RFQ's online and bid using this software. Users can use the purchasing software to issue purchase orders (PO) and work orders (WO). Several features provide a way to close PO's and WO's after completion - fully or partially fulfilled. The inventory system allows you to account for and manage physical inventory.
