Security.

MVS has housed all commercial, production servers in hardened data centers since 1997 - SAS 70 Type 2 certified. All traffic to servers is monitored at two different points by hardware and software firewalls and routers. We guarantee the security of your company information; only you (and other users authorized, under your control) can access or see your company data .

Login ID's and Passwords.

All users at your company are assigned a login id and password. Once a user completes a successful first login, they can change their password as often as desired. A user's login id controls the menu items, programs and permissions granted to the user. The system admin has control over all users access.

Access to the server by IP and time of day.

Each user can be restricted to a specific ip for gaining access and login. The system looks at their client ip and restricts access based upon that ip. Users may also have access to the system restricted by time of day.

Firewall and Router Protection

The software servers are protected by two layers of protection in the data center(s). Clients exhibiting suspicious behavior are audited and then dropped at the most fundamental level of access by proprietary software.

Database and Programing Language

Actual customer data, with the exception of images, and business rules programming/logic exist in a virtual kernal within the Linux kernal. This data and programming is inaccessible by anyone except MVS engineering. Backup and recovery information are moved in encrypted format when traveling to recovery locations.
